A marine mammal specialist travels with you and shares valuable information about marine life, whale behavior, and their long journey to Bahía de Banderas each season.
Whale season runs from December to March, when these animals are plentiful in the bay. The tour is legally authorized by the Mexican Government and all guides and captains are trained and certified.

What to expect
Departure by sea — The tour departs by sea from Nuevo Vallarta (Paradise Village Dock C) or from the main Puerto Vallarta office. Check the departure point assigned to your booking.
Bay cruise — You sail through Bahía de Banderas aboard the APEX speed boat, enjoying the views while the guide shares information about marine life.
Whale watching — You get close to humpback whales to observe and photograph them in their natural habitat as they breach out of the water.
