1. Read the guest before talking price
Ask if they're traveling as a family, couple, or solo, and whether they're looking for adventure or relaxation. Then match them to the right package — not the most expensive one, the most fitting one. Trust closes more sales than price does.
2. Sell the experience, not the feature list
Instead of listing what's included, paint the day: "Picture yourself arriving at a crystal-clear beach, having lunch with an ocean view, and ending the day on a zipline 80 feet in the air." Emotions sell more than bullet points.
3. Use El Cielo as the hook for the premium package
El Cielo is your strongest differentiator — it's famous, stunning, and just 7 minutes from the private dock. When a guest hesitates between packages, mentioning the starfish and turquoise waters of El Cielo almost always tips them toward the Adventure + El Cielo package.
4. The Day Pass is a door, not the destination
If someone wants the Day Pass for the price, don't fight it — use it as a stepping stone. Show them that for a small upgrade, they can add the water park or the zipline circuit. Many guests level up once they see how little extra it costs for how much more they get.
5. Close with real urgency, not manufactured pressure
Cozumel runs on cruise ship schedules — guests have limited time. Lines like "If you're here on a cruise, this is your one day on the island — make it count" create genuine urgency without feeling like a hard sell.
